More tuneage

Here's 'Beatbox' - again, unmastered and a little rough around the edges. Should be getting a little help mixing this down (all being well)... I'll upload the finished product when it's there. For now this should give a taste of what's to come

How has it become that it takes almost a year to write each track these days... here's the first taste of the new stuff (2009) - first of 4 tracks written in parallel. Just in time to listen to on the way to the Glade :-)

Progress

The second of three most recent tracks "Altered States" is now available to listen to / download. As yet it's unmastered and could do with a little 'finishing off'. Will be mixing this down, along with 'Temporal Order' and 'Rewind' sometime in the next month... Enjoy!

About time...

Okay, so I'm writing again :D In the process of putting the new studio together with the addition of some tasty rack-mounted gear (mammoth analogue phaser unit, analogue bass synth and a few other bits of kit). Alesis active monitors and Beyer 'phones are giving me a clearer insight into the tracks too. The latest 'Temporal Order' track is written after dancing the night away at the 'Awakening' party in Reading. Samples from one of the country's leading theoretical physicists - Sir Roger Penrose... a meditation on the plasticity and subjectivity of our time perception. Enjoy ;)

Tribute to Robert Anton Wilson

So here's the latest track - as yet unmastered, and still a bit of production left to do (more drums, and some changes to that ascerbic lead)... but an idea of what I'm playing around with. A few other projects on the boil, so thought I'd get this up in its present condition before I get heavily sidetracked. Basically a tribute to Robert Anton Wilson - one of the greatest psychologist-philosopher-stoners of all time. Good mate of the late, great Tim Leary and a massive influence on me from an early age. Look up some of his books if you fancy a taste of something fresh. So long Bob - All Hail Eris! All Hail Discordia!
