New Track 'The Golden A***/Donkey'

A track that grew out of the end of Esc-a-ton. Looking for a title that reflects McKennas thoughts about the greek meaning of the Eros I stumbled across an ancient roman tale about a guy who tries to become a witch and turns into a donkey instead. This gives him the chance to peek into many different facettes of the roman people...
The A-word of the tales title got censored - lol - so: The Golden Donkey |

Even though the mastering is miserable, we still love this song from our 2008 debut album 'Magick'. |

Another Song feat. Terence McKenna (...?)

Hi, merry christmas and happy solstice to all of you!
I'm Dave aka phi aka Phigital from the band Spiritual Science.
The first song here 'Esc-a-ton' is actually a pre-mix of a song where my bandmate Carol will be singing to sometime next year. We're working parallel on an electro-, an (almost) unplugged- and a rock album, and Carol want's to work out the rocksongs first, so I get to play with squirky plugins and do (p)remixes before the songs are out.
...............................................
I really asked myself 10 times "Does the world need yet another PsyPop song featuring Terence McKenna?" What convinced me to saying yes, was the outbreak of a flame-war blogging nightmare following the anouncement of Roland Emerich's new film '2012'. The reaction toward the mere idea of anything prophetical seemed more constipated than ever before in 2009.
. . . . . . . . . .
The interesting thing I noticed about those scientists and sceptics that engage in such cynical flame-wars, is that they are always some no-names you never heard about and who haven't made any mentionable contribution.
. . . . . . . . . .
But those who do make groundbreaking contributions would never claim that science alone can 'explain' anything beyond it's clear cut defined boundries.
. . . . . . . . . .
People like R.Feynman, S.Hawking, A.Zeilinger, W.v.Heisenberg, A.Einstein, M.Planck were/are always the first to say: "Leave that to Philosophy"
. . . . . . . . . .
So that's why I featured more than just a few phrases of Terences rap even though it was sometimes a little annoying to fit it in the mix.
