Simon Baring is a fairly new name in this psychedelic sitcom. He's only 23 but has been fanatical about music since he was 14. He has been writing music since he was 16, taking his time and refining his techniques. Never happy with mediocrity, he spends a long time polishing his tracks. He has written music of all genres but mainly along the lines of psychedelic and progressive trance and chill, house and breaks, warped stuff, drum and bass and even one hip hop tune! He has written more down-tempo stuff recently with his latest tune being considered for the next Backroom Beats compilation. Finding time to write music whilst working in this industry has proved difficult for Si but he's getting there. He was discovered by Ans from Nano Records in 2003 and proceeded to work for Nano Records and the Glade Festival until September 2005. After Glade 2005, he was hired by Twisted Records to help in the official capacities of running the label and supervised the organisation of the Twisted Label party in the SE-One which was a massive success. It was here that he started his official DJ career. Playing under the name Baring Brothers with his cousin Tom. He has a huge stockpile of music and a great ear for a musical journey including some Twisted goodies of course! You can expect to hear many things from this strange character over the coming years as he is fully immersed and totally dedicated. You've probably seen this lanky dread-head on the dancefloors of many festivals over the years and soon you'll be seeing him on stage! |
